GNPVA sponsors a Winter Speaker Series every year and 2016 promises to be one of the best! The event is held on the fourth Monday in January, February and March at the Museum at Central School in downtown Kalispell, MT. This year’s dates and presentations are:

Bill Schustrom, Ranger Naturalist at Glacier National Park will present
“GNP AND THE GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY: A UNIQUE RELATIONSHIP”
Bill will discuss the historical impact of the railway on Glacier National Park.
- February 22, 7 PM
Lisa Bate, Wildlife Biologist at Glacier National Park will present
“HARLEQUIN DUCKS: THE WHITE WATER SPECIALISTS OF GNP”
Lisa will discuss current findings of the Glacier National Park Harlequin Duck Survival and Recruitment Project, as well as future plans for the project.

Sumio Harada, Professional Wildlife Photographer
“MOUNTAIN GOATS IN GLACIER NATIONAL PARK”
Sumio will discuss the agile mountain goats of Glacier National Park and show some of his awe-inspiring photographs.
