GNPVA Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is composed of nine to fifteen members who serve without compenstation for a three year term. The officers are a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer and serve for a two year term. The board meets monthly from September to May. The Annual business meeting of GNPVA occurs in May of each year during the annual Volunteer Day.

GNPVA Committes 2020/2021
MEMBERSHIP:
Maintain membership list info, provide mailing labels as needed, send out spring membership renewal letter with
spring news update letter.
HISTORICAL DATABASE:
Archive GNPVA Articles, Photos, Etc.
TECHNOLOGY:
Maintenance of GNPVA website, Constant Contact emails, Facebook
MEMBERSHIP COMMUNICATIONS:
Layout of Fall and Spring Newsletters, Organize, Print, Mail Newsletters - Care and Operation of Equipment for
Public Presentations.
VOLUNTEER DAY:
Plan and organize Volunteer Day, including reserving the Community Center, organizing the food and handling
the publicity.
WORK PROJECTS:
Organize work project participation on projects requested by the park.
BACKCOUNTRY PRESERVATION FUNDRAISER:
Organize and manage the mailing of the letter. Get estimates on the cost.
NOMINATIONS:
Find candidates to fill board seats, including officers.
WINTER SPEAKER SERIES:
Plan and coordinate the Winter Speakers Series, coordinating the speakers and arranging the publicity.
RANGER INTERN FUNDRAISER:
Writing, printing and mailing the September letter to the membership.
AUDIT:
Arranging for the annual audit.
MINI WORK WEEKS:
This is a tentative committee. Once the dates and places have been determined, this committee would work with Cheryl Klein, GNPVA Board to organize the volunteers.
