GNPVA held our annual volunteer day and general meeting last May 18th, 2019, and even though there was a little bit of rain, over 50 volunteers and park staff showed up to work on a list of projects for Glacier National Park. First we enjoyed delicious treats and welcoming each other and a short meeting. We then broke into groups for the days projects, continued work on the Grisley cabin, prepared the Apgar Nature Center for the 2019 season, spruced up the Artist In Residence cabin for our first artist arriving in June, worked in the Native Plant Nursery, peeled logs for another project and did Wheeler cabin cleaning. A really great day of accomplished work done for the Park.
