Thank you Glacier National Park Volunteer Associates (GNPVA) for another season of supporting this place we all love. This year 55 members put in 5,608 hours of service, for an in-kind value of $129,489. Projects included taking down two old buildings, overseeing work at the Artist-in-Residence cabin, carpentry work at the Grisley cabin on Lake McDonald, painting picnic tables in the Saint Mary Campground and managing the Apgar Nature Center for another year. There are two annual work day events, spring and fall. If you have carpentry or painting skills and would like to get involved in GNPVA work projects, please get in touch at glac_volunteer_program@nps.gov.

If you’re interested in becoming a GNPVA member, check out their newly redesigned website: https://gnpva.org/, as they have done a wonderful job explaining the important role they play for Glacier National Park.
