GNPVA received a very nice thank you letter from our 2018-2019 GNP Native Plant Nursery intern Claire Schmidt. For many years, the GNP Volunteer Associates has been providing a stipend enabling a Columbia Falls High School student to intern at the Native Plant Nursery at Glacier National Park.
(Read More)GNPVA first-ever Mini Work Week was held at Saint Mary, September15-17th. Eight volunteers arrived at the Saint Mary Campground on the 15th and the work projects began the next day.
(Read More)Cheryl Klein, GNPVA volunteer coordinator with the Park received a thank you from Bob Jellison, GNP. Bob is the Schools to Park Coordinator responsible for coordinating construction projects in Glacier National Park with the building trades program at Columbia Falls High School.

(Read More)During July 2019, GNPVA volunteers and Park personnel removed a no longer used small Park cabin on the inside north fork. It was a big job but it sure was a beautiful place to work close to Camas creek.
(Read More)In July 2019, a semi permanent structure at Polebridge Ranger Station was demolished to make room for new permanent employee housing structures. GNPVA members were called upon to assist in demolition and scrap removal.
(Read More)Thank you Glacier National Park for your annual volunteer appreciation potluck held at the beautiful Glacier Raft Company Outdoor Center Pavilion on July 24th, 2019. Fantastic hosts, beautiful views and of course most delicious food (thanks Carolyn for the scrumptious lasagna). A tremendous thank you to Sonja and all the other Park staff that helped put this event together and the many potluck dishes brought.
